University of Cincinnati
Medical Symphony Orchestra

The Medical Symphony Orchestra (MSO) is a volunteer student organization at the University of Cincinnati with the goal of providing performance opportunities for primarily engineering and medical campus students. Students spend their Friday evenings rehearsing in preparation for an end-of-semester concert at which donations are collected to be donated to a predetermined charity in the Cincinnati area.

I spend two years working with MSO as a conductor. As part of my role, I guided music selection, arranged music to be inclusive of the instruments we had access to, arranged music to make it accessible for students with special needs, planned and led rehearsals, and conducted the ensembles at concerts.
